ScanDisk U3 Cruzer Micro USB drive error on installation
 

I've been searching the web trying to find a solution to my problem. Perhaps someone here can help me.

When I plug the USB drive into my PC XP recognizes it and asks me to install new hardware. On the last step it says "An error has occurred during the installation of the device" then below it says "Data is invalid".


I have Windows XP with SP3.
My uncle has Vista and it works fine on his machine.
