O Globo, the Brazilian newspaper, reminds its readers that it’s 70 years today since the Viennese writer Stefan Zweig signed his suicide letter, declaring himself unable to carry on in a linguistic exile, even one so safe and beautiful as Brazil. His wife, Lotte, decided to share his fate.
