Police storm protesters in Sanabis on the outskirts of the Bahraini capital Manama, 12 February 2012. Authorities in Bahrain arrested Bahraini female activist Zainab al-Khawaja, daughter of jailed human-rights activist, Abdulhadi al-Khawaja, as she tried to reach Lulu Roundabout. Clashes had erupted across most parts of Bahrain on 12 February, as protesters attempted to return to Lulu and prepare to mark the first anniversary of the pro-reforms protests on 14 February 2012
