Emailing users not working
 

I am having the following issues with the bulletin board: if a user has a password issue (forgotten), they request to have their password emailed to them. However, the bulletin board does not ever send the link to reset the password. Do I need to add something to server to make this happen?

Here are the server specs:
LAMP box - Ubuntu Linux 8.04
PHP - v5.2.4
MySQL - v5.0.51a
Apache - v2.2.8
Vbulletin - v3.7.2 patch level 1

I know that I need to patch the board up to 3.8, but I have to make sure my database backup is complete and working before I do the patch.
