A Complete novice question
 

Hi, please be gentle but I am very new to computing let alone setting up a forum which is what I want to do.

Can somebody please explain what I need?

At this moment in time I have a relatively new PC with quite a bit of memory and have decided the vbulletin software is what I want to use. Apart from that I have nothing else.

What does it take to get a forum up and running and how do I go about it?
