Mysql Database restore problem!
 

Heres the story:

I came back from a few months break from my forum only to find 88 thousand posts by bots (porn, images, links) and 3000 registered bots. I knew i had to get rid of them before i could do anything else. I went ahead and tried to prune posts but i realised for some reason i could only prune 1 thousand or so at a time. It was going FAR to slow so i created a custom made script which deleted the tables from my Mysql database. I did this for the registered bot usernames aswell. It seemed to work and my forum was going well.

Untill i realised that the posts had come back onto my Mysql database, aswell as the registered users, but not on the forum. I also realised that when spiders came to my website they always went to wrongly directed or non-existing posts, i immediately thought this must be the posts that i deleted out of the database. They must have been following wrong links. I had to fix this.

I put aside the fact that all my posts, all my updates, all the registered users and all the restyling of the forum in the last few days would be destroyed and i got a backup from my webhost (bluehost). They restored the Mysql database through SSH and after a while i noticed something. when i looked at my forum it looked like it was on the 7th, which is when the backup is from but then i went into a forum and noticed that the number of threads was wrong. There were only a few threads.

The Bots threads are gone off the forum (they were there on the 7th) and some of my posts i had made after the 7th are there. Although when you click the link it sends you to an error page saying wrongly directed. My add-ons that i put in are gone, which means the bots are now registering and posting again.

I tried again to do a restore of the database but the same problem occurs. I then updated my vBulletin to 3.8.2, which didnt fix anything. after this I ran the function in the admin control panel to recount counters, now the number of posts etc are just not saying large numbers.

Spiders are getting wrongly directed
The bots and there posts are still in the database
I have shut down my forum so that no more bots can post or register (after restoring many of them did already)
Much of the information from after the backup nis still there, but not working properly
My site is unstructured like it was before the backup date. (was very structured after date)

It is all a big mess and i just dont know what to do anymore, i might just be rambling on but please someone help me.
