Statement No. [2] Disobey "Electricity and Water"

In the Name of God,


Under the violations of Al-Khalifa regime since the occupation of Bahrain, which has been escalated after the Revolution broke out in Bahrain on Feb 14th, 2011 where such violations are continuing to rise until the moment, especially the manipulating with the health of our Political Figure Professor Hasan Mushaima in Jail lately and with the first anniversary of Bahrain Revolution amid a popular revolt steadfastness of people who insisted to have life of dignity and pride. So, from the importance of activating the "Civil Resistance" which recommended by the leaders and activist, especially those who are languishing in prisons, the campaign of "Disobedience" issued in an attempt to focus on returning this resistance in various kinds to put economical pressure on the regime besieged it from all sides to bend to the demands of the people or leave and let people decide their own destiny.


And as mentioned above that the in charge of the "Civil Disobedience" after the reliance on God had chosen February as the date for the inauguration of the first events of the rebellion to take effective enough in media saturated to ensure the widest possible participation, emphasizing the importance of helping to build awareness of all the possibilities and methods available to them.


In this spirit we call on all our audiences to broad participation in the event of "Disobeying Water and Electricity" by not paying electricity and water bills starting with the bill of January from February 2012 until further notice. This step as a start will cause an economic blow for brutal Al-Khalifa regime which would be practically easy implementation to ignore the payments and it will not be dangerous to anyone, so we chose this event to avoid damage and for its strong impact on the regime. Also, we urge to naturally use electricity and if possible increase the usage at the peak time.


On the other hand, we call on the people to broadly boycott the Autumn Fair that suppose to be held in the coming days, just like how we boycotted the Jewelry Fair as called by the Coalition of youth of February 14 Revolution.


The non-payment of electricity and water bills will continue and will not stop because it is only the beginning and it will be complemented by upcoming events until achieving the people's real demands.


So we depend on conciliation of Allah
