Best forum homepage?
 

I'm scripting a forum homepage for my site. I was thinking two columns. One would have a list of forums that we feature and the other column would be a thing like twitter where people can post quick comments, etc.

Thoughts?

I'd like to know what people think is the best forum homepage and what should be on it.
