بكل فخر و شجاعة أعلنت وزارة الداخلية عن تعيين أفضل خبير أمني امريكي و اللذي من المتوقع منه أن يحل أزمة البلد الأمنية و الطائفية و يعيد بناء جسور الثقة و المحبة بين اهالي سترة و الرفاع!!!

قبل أن نحلم كثيرا بما تخطط له وزارة المسرحيات و قبل أن نصدق أيا من هذا الكلام

This is a clear violation of his own department orders.... The chief of police should be an example for others to follow."

تيموني ساق سيارة لكزس فاخر لمدة 15 شهرا كان قد حصل عليها مجانا من أحد معارض لكزس بدون أن يخبر أي من المسؤولين مما اعتبر رشوة!!!

Timoney has been dogged by scandal since taking the top cop job six years ago; he was roundly criticized and then sued for overreacting to the Free Trade Area of the Americas riots in 2003. He was nailed for indefinitely "test-driving" a free Lexus from a local dealership last year. And last September, New Times exposed that Timoney has the attendance record of a stoner freshman at UM, spending more than four months networking and speaking on the road, rather than at home minding the department.

Miami Police Chief John Timoney screwed up, and we taxpayers are just gonna keep paying and paying.

Back in November 2003, the City of Miami shut down some protests against a Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA) meeting being held here. The cops beat some protesters and illegally jailed others. Just last May, the city paid $17K to the family of photographer Emily Vogel, whose car was destroyed while she was taking pictures.

And yesterday, the 11th Circut Court of the U.S. District Court of Appeals nailed the city and Timoney for shutting down an Amnesty International protest before it started. "Trampling on constitutional rights in order to keep the peace is not a permissible police action," said Louis M. Jepeway Jr., ACLU cooperating attorney.

في نوفمبر انقض على حركة احتجاجات ضد منطقة التجارة الحرة الشرطة هاجمت بعض المتضاهرين و احتجزن البعض بشكل غير قانوني!! فقط في مايو دفعت المدينة 17 الف دولار لتكسيرها سيارة احد المصورين

By doing so, Miami’s top cop violated the spirit, if not the letter, of a departmental rule that prohibits police officers from bailing anyone of jail, according to Timoney’s most vocal critic and Fraternal Order of Police union president Armando Aguilar.
