the upgrade process, config file related ok, looking at the instructions on how to upgrade my site to 3.7.0 from 3.6.8 it says that I just open the config.php.new file in a text editor (I like notepad ++). Can't I just copy the information out of my existing config.php file and then upload it or does the install process walk me through entering the information into the (NEW) config.php file? I did notice some minor differences near the end of the file but IDK it's been a while. I might have changed that information but I doubt it. it kind of leave out that bit of information: http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/upgrade It's been some time since I've done an upgrade! I'd love to upgrade to 3.8 but I'll have to worry about that at a later time. |
