Multi-Quote Multi-Quote / Edit integration I'd like some feedback on whether this is "logical" or not. I had never thought of it before but today I wondered if I could do it and it didn't work. Here's my suggestion: Posts I have in multi-quote should "appear" when I edit one of my posts. I can see this being useful in the following scenario: I see a thread, I post a reply without first reading every post in it. Or maybe I'm lazy and quote the first post I see that I just need to respond to rather than putting it in a multi-quote queue. Either way, I make my post. After the post is submitted I then scroll up a bit to find a new post that I want to address. Maybe it got posted while I was making my reply, maybe it wasn't. Irrelevant. In any case, I want to include a response to said post in the post I already submitted. Currently, if I want to properly include the quotation formatting I need to hit "quote" on the new post, copythe formatting text, hit back, edit my post, and paste the text and then post my reply. It would be much easier to hit the multi-quote button, click on edit for my post, and have it automatically appear. This is even more helpful if there are multiple new posts I want to address. |
