Subscription Only Site Greetings, I am VERY new to vbulletin. I've been using php-nuke for the past 4 years on my other websites and wanted to upgrade to vbulletin for a new site project and although I'm figuring my way through most of the configuration settings, I'm still having problems with the Paid Subscriptions. Here's my project and my problem .... I'm starting a car club website, the forum is to be viewable to anyone who visits (except for the Club Business category) and I want to keep the site exclusive to only paid members of the club to post, reply, etc. Paid members will act as registered users, all else (except for management) are treated as unregistered. I've followed the Paid Subscriptions instructions to the letter! I have my paypal account gateway all set up and everything is linked correctly. (at least I think so). However, when I log out and attempt to register as a new member, its taking me through the normal registration process with no mention of a paid membership. I don't want people to be able to register without a paid subscription. Is there some changes I have to make to the usergroups, paid subscriptions manager, or something I haven't thought of yet to get this to show up? Can anyone help? |
