صحيفة الفاينانشل تايمز تنقل عن بسيوني قوله بأنه لقي تعاوناً كاملاً من قبل السلطات وأن التقارير التي تتحدث عن حالات تعذيب توقفت بعد انشاء لجنته

Mr Bassiouni, a veteran professor of international criminal law, this week said he had received full co-operation from the authorities and that reports of abuses against people in custody had stopped since the commission’s establishment in Bahrain. Human rights activists, however, say cases of abuse continue to be reported.
