Adobe Photoshop or better camera

below are the photographs i have taken myself but i am not satisfied as these are not good quality and not actual colours. but i have seen so many good photographs better than mine by few of my friends .

Would any body advise how to make my photographs better?

Its the problem with camera or i need to edit these in photoshop?
