suddenly unable to edit page, is there a size limit? Hi, I'm new to the forums, so apologies if this has been asked before. I have searched old threads for the answer but not found it, I hope someone can help... I'm running 0.10.2 of phpWebsite and suddenly one of the pages will not allow me to edit - in the admin area, if I go to edit that page, it just displays a blank page. The page can be viewed OK on the web, but just does not allow access to edit it. I can still edit the other pages within that same PHPWebsite, just not this particular page. I thought perhaps there may be page limits of some kind embedded into the programme - but I have to say there really isn't a great deal of content on the page which has locked me out, so not sure about the page limit theory. I wondered if it could be a permissions thing - only I would have thought that would lock me out of editing all the other pages, but it's only this one. The site is hosted on a dedicated server, so I don't think there is any restrictions on server space or allowances. This locking-out of a page has happened before on another PHPWebsite I run (same version), but on that occasion there was a huge amount of content on the page, so we just figured there was some kind of size limit, and so built new pages and migrated the information across, and deleted the old page. With this latest one though, there really isn't a lot of content on, no photos, just a moderate amount of info, so I can't see that this can be a size issue? Are there size restrictions on the amount of info that can go on each page? If so, what is the criteria? And if that's not the problem, anyone got any ideas? Thanks everso! MandyMoo |
