Forum url redirect
 

Hi,

I've upgraded my vB3 to vB4 and migrated it to the different domain name.

I've left old vB3 scripts on the old server but replaced global.php containing:
PHP Code:
Header( "HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently" );
Header( "Location: http://new.domain" );
exit();

So, any old bookmarks or search cashes such as http://old.domain/showthread.php?2428will be redirected to the new forum website but just to the root url.

Is it possible to redirect url to a same page on the new server? eg:

http://old.domain/showthread.php?2428
http://new.domain/showthread.php?2428

should my global.php header looks more along the lines:

Header( "Location: http://new.domain $vbulletin->array" );

btw, my old server doesn't support htaccess redirects :(
