Query to unsubsribe users from closed threads?
 

I'm looking for a db query to unsubscribe members from closed threads. Normally this shouldn't be a problem, but the forum I'm working on is in the process of closing long threads (1000+ posts) because they were causing table locking. They have thousands of long threads like this. That's cured the table locking, but as threads are closed a new post is made which results in a subscription notification. Then people return to the closed thread en masse to get the url of the continued one. So we really need a query to stop that cycle.
