Recent forum issues fixed
 

Hi everyone,

There's been a few issues with the operations of the forums lately, and I wanted to let everyone know that I think all the issues have been resolved.

First, there was a problem with the server's ability to send email. Postfix wasn't quite configured properly. I've tested it out and heard from others that emails are coming through now. This was affecting account registration and email password reminders.

Second, the MySQL server has been going AWOL at random times. I get bombarded with error emails every time this happens. I've given the server a reboot (installed some updates too), and checked the integrity of all the tables. Hopefully that'll take care of that...
