HTML Codes no longer working (3.8.6) In the past, there was the ability to use special character codes on vbulletin forums. This was useful in various ways - circumventing swear filters without stuffing bbcode in the middle of words, or even legitimate usages like inputting superscript without using a bbcode, or inputting special characters like the copyright symbol. This no longer works however, and the characters are output as they are typed, and not actually rendered: Copyright symbol example: £ In the past, a copyright symbol would appear there on our forum - now it just presents the html code unparsed. Was this disabled in one of the vbulletin updates around v3.8.6? Is this possibly a DB setting that got flipped somewhere? Something else? It's always worked on our forum until the past few months. Input appreciated. |
