Security question
 

We use Apollo as our server and they shut us down because, they are saying our server space was the launching pad for attacks against other systems.

My question is...

Once someone has taken advantage of a security exploit in an older version of VB, does upgrading to a newer version get rid of the issue or will the security still be breached?

Our server was shut down over what appears to be a VB security exploit "attacking" other systems - all packets sent to VB related sections of a server. We received similar packets in the day leading up to our account being suspended for the same activity.
