Suite Upgrade from 4.0.6 FORUM to 4.0.6 PUBLISHING SUITE (Help)
 

There are no absolutely clear topics on how to do this, so I thought I would create one, not only to benefit me, but hopefully others as well.

As the title reads, I want to upgrade from forum to suite. I started my site off with just a forum, but now that I have purchased the upgrade to the suite, I want to know how the upgrade process is done without losing attachments and stuff.

From reading the sticky topics and others, I think I have came up with the right procedure. I would like clarification if this is the correct way before I begin.

1. Backup files and database (done)
2. Drag the publishing suite files OVER the forum files (replacing duplicates)
3. Install Publishing Suite
4. Use Impex

Is that the correct process, so I can be sure the attachments are kept?
