CMS Upgraded 3.8X to 4.07, forum works, CMS gets redirect error
 

Howdy,

Created a test forum to upgrade from 3.86 to 4.07. Removed all plug-ins and previous VBA portal. A URL of .../forum.php I get the forum and it works well. .../index.php or .../content.php both result in this error:

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

I have no redirects on the site and I tried deleting .htaccess. I tried variations of removing the // in index.php with no success.

This wouldn't be an issue if I continue to vbadvanced, but I wanted to begin using all the features in the V4 suite.

Any idea where to start looking?
