Suite vBulletin 4.0.7 CMS Returns Database Error Having an issue with db access. This is the error I receive: Database error in vBulletin 4.0.7: Invalid SQL: LOCK TABLES vBcms_node WRITE, vBlanguage read; MySQL Error : Access denied for user 'dbadmin'@'%' to database 'db_1' Error Number : 1044 Request Date : Wednesday, September 22nd 2010 @ 09:42:09 PM Error Date : Wednesday, September 22nd 2010 @ 09:42:09 PM Script : http://www.mydomain.com/forums/conte...age/addcontent Referrer : http://www.mydomain.com/forums/content.php IP Address :xx.xx.xx.xxx Username : admin Classname : vB_Database MySQL Version : 5.0.51b-community-nt-log The Forum is working fine but whenever I try to do anything with the CMS I get this error. Does the CMS accesss the db differently then the forums? If both the Forum and the CMS both reference the config.php file for db accesss the should either both work or not work. Unless the CMS needs LOCK TABLE Privileges and the Forum does not. This is a fresh install of 4.0.6 that I then upgraded to 4.0.7 hoping it would fix the problem. If anyone has worked through this issue and can help me out, that would be great. I asked my hosting company (who by the way, list vBulletin as a supported app) to grant me full privileges but we have been going back and forth for four days now and I am losing hope that this will get resolved. Thanks |
