Forum 23 external Javascripts (*.js) and 4 external stylesheets (*.css) must load
 

How do I combine them as recommended by my Host ?
why are they not combined by default ?
Slow loading is continuing to drive away my users.

also while my host had a recommendation that i use the IP of the MySQL A tech has came back and told me that I should use the name. can I simply change it in the config.php ? is there anything more I would have to do ?

How can I exclude sites that are hot linking php and other files ?
