updates and nofollow functionality
 

I'm using vBulletin 3.7.3 (patch level 1) with vbseo 3.2.0.

I'm very happy with how it's all working but have two questions:

1) Should I update vbulletin or vbseo. And to which versions, in order to keep the updating as simple as possible?

2) I want some more flexibility with the rel=nofollow. Matt Cutts has suggested in this video to not always automatically add the rel=nofollow: links in posts from trusted members could be dofollowed. Is there a way realise this? In my current VBSEO I'm already able to make a whitelist of domains now, but I want to make a whitelist of members.
