see language_ids.txt to match your language with the listed ID.



++++++++++++CORE NOKIA MAPS INSTALL (MANDATORY)+++++++++++++++++++++


1. open the folder /maps/maps core/languages/(ID)/rofs2

2. copy the contents of that folder to the "/maps/maps core/install to rofs2" folder.

3. repeat step (2) to add more languages to your "CORE" Nokia Maps 3.04 (278) install

4. copy the contents of the "/maps/maps core/install rofs2" folder to your firmware ROFS2 or ROFS3 folder

5. cook and enjoy...


++++++++++++NOKIA ACCOUNT API INSTALL (OPTIONAL)+++++++++++++++++++++


1. open the folder /maps/nokia account api/languages/(ID)/rofs2

2. copy the contents of that folder to the "/maps/nokia account api/install to rofs2" folder.

3. repeat step (2) to add more languages to your "NOKIA ACCOUNT API" Nokia Maps 3.04 (278) install

4. copy the contents of the "/maps/nokia account api/install rofs2" folder to your firmware ROFS2 or ROFS3 folder

5. cook and enjoy...


++++++++++++SHARE LOCATION NOKIA MAPS INSTALL (OPTIONAL)+++++++++++++++++++++


1. open the folder /maps/share location/languages/(ID)/rofs2

Final notes....

The "/maps/other" folder contains other part of the extended Nokia Maps installer that are not always needed.
You can add each of those options to your maps install by...


INSTALL PIPS

1. copy the contents of the "/maps/other/pips/install to rofs2" to to your firmware ROFS2 or ROFS3 folder.


INSTALL OPEN C LIBRARIES

1. copy the contents of the "/maps/other/open c libraries/install to rofs2" to to your firmware ROFS2 or ROFS3 folder.


INSTALL STANDARD C LIBRARIES

1. copy the contents of the "/maps/other/standard c libraries/install to rofs2" to to your firmware ROFS2 or ROFS3 folder.

LAST NOTES...

1.

Nokia has added a NEW API "NCIM" that is part of the CORE map installer
but it is not needed because there are no 3rd party applications that even
use the "NCIM" API yet. So I recommend that you DO NOT install "NOKIA ACCOUNT API INSTALL".


2.

People always ask me....

Should I install (PIP, and the standard C. and open C libraries included in OVI Maps) ?

That is a decision you will have to make for yourself. But I myself always
install them because a lot 3rd party apps use those libraries and the INSTALLER
will not install those libraries into C:\ if it finds them in Z:\. Which will save you
some space on your C:\ drive.
