Forum Restoring problem
 

I want to restore my old 3.8 forum on a new server and upgrade it to 4.0. The database restore goes fine but I'm not sure about the files on FTP.. I'm guessing I upload the old 3.8 files (with my customized files) first and then overwrite them with the 4.0 files right? If that's correct, when I call upgrade.php I get a ton of errors and admincp has different ones.

Could this be a server issue? FYI, my PHP version is 5.3.3 and Apache is 1.3.42. Oh and I should also say I had no problem at all doing a fresh install of 4.0. It seems there may be an issue with my old DB.
