Forum UserGroup Questions
 

Hey,

I've looked through the vbulletin manual and can't pin point anything that specifically makes what the following permissions clear. I've tried the ? on each area and some are still not to clear.

I will number these so hopefully some kind person will run through them and answer if my thoughts on what they do is correct. (thanks in advanced to anyone helping me to understand them)

Section: Groups Permissions

When I ask these questions I more refer to what areas exactly they are to control.

1: Can Join Groups - if set to no, user can't join any public groups and vice versa?
2: Can Create Groups - does this mean they can make their own usergroup?
3: Can Manage Own Groups - to enable them to manage any usergroups they make?
4: Can View Groups - allows them to see public groups or allows them to see ALL groups even if they are private?
5: Can Post Messages in Groups - If this is set to no, they can't make posts at all to any forums??????
6: Can Manage Own Messages - not sure what messages this refers to?
7: Can Create New Discussions in Groups - no ideas what this is?
8: Can Manage Own Discussions - again unsure ?
9: Can Upload Pictures - Is this a restriction to pictures posted onto forums?
