CMS Promoted Articles = 2 comment discussion threads
 

There's been a long known issue with articles that have been promoted from the forum to the CMS where the comments are split between the CMS Comments forum and the actual forum where the article originated in the forums.

The issue has been posted in the tracker yet no one has been assigned to it:

This is a rather large issue here. It's not fun trying to keep track of two separate comment threads on the same story.

I hope one of the devs takes this up real soon
