CMS Remove article from home page?
 

I have an article that I have assigned to a section, but it showing up on my home page. I'd like to not show it on the home page, and only show it in its assigned section.

When I edit the home page layout from the front-end using the pencil icon, I have marked the check box for " Display Content from Sub-Sections?" as unchecked.

So why is it still showing up on my home page and how do I fix it?
