Vbadvanced cmps + Vbforum (or) vbforum cms 4x for specific look
 

Dear experts and admin,
need your advise on vbadvanced + vbulletin
my scenerio (vbforum + photopost, or vbulletin photo album)

myproblem:
on the front page of my website i want display
i) latest photos like thumnails 1/3 of front page ( automatically when posted on to my vb folders)
ii) latest threads with summary ( taken from vb foum folders)
iii) ads on left coloum and right column

i found vbadvanced cmps can do this, but most of the wesites existing are below structure
vb forum 3xx + vbadvanced cmps + photopost or photoprolog

My question:
can i do the same with vb forum 4.
i.e vbadvanced cmps + vbforum 4.x is this compatiable no problems? will it work?

when i talked with few ppl they say i must go for vb cmps 4x but the problme is
the demo of vbcms 4x shows the front page like a blog, more of article and blog posts on to the front page..... so i am in dobut, if i would like to choose the latest vb cms instead using vbadvanced cmps + vb 4.o
will i get the same look

or i should go for vbadvanced cmps + vbforum 4x (in this case is vbforum 4x ok with vbadavnced cmps)
