Forum Forum Status Icons and Additional Forum icons
 

I'd like to have different status icons for certain forums - or - use the standard forum status icons and include an additional icon below the forum name. I'm not sure which is the best way to go about it.

I see a mod involving a template edit here http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=229529 .

Also I see something in the Forum Manager regarding "Prefix for Forum Status Images." The pop up help for this item doesn't quite make it clear. By adding a prefix and creating a separate set of status images does that create different status images for a particular forum. For example, the standard forum_link.gif. Could you then have an imaged names dinosaur_forum_link.gif that would show for that one forum specified by adding the "prefix?"

Any assistance or clarification would appreciated. Any examples I can look at? Thanks everyone.
