Forum Modified default notice not updating
 

I completely changed the text and links in the default_guest_message. I saved what I did and the changes are visible in the CP upon my return, even days later. However, the notice in the forum itself still shows the vBulletin default message and links to FAQ and register. I'm not sure how this is possible and why my edits are not showing up.

My notice is set so that unregistered users and users not logged in will see it. It is set to Active and Persistent. Dismissible is off.

Please let me know how to fix this. I'm using vB 4.0.5
