Forum Preventing forum spam bots from registering
 

Yes, I am more than well aware that this question has been asked MULTIPLE times! However, I am asking it now.

I currently use a fool proof mod that only allows users who have a invitation code to register. This has been helpful so I do NOT get any spam bots registering.

HOWEVER, I want to start breaking away from this mod...so with that said, I am wondering what forum owners/administrators have used or are using now (whether it be a mod or a default option in vbulletin to prevent ANY spam bots from registering!
