Forum Back slashes in title cause mod_rewrite to redirect improperly in Internet Explorer Hello, If I create a thread in our forums (http://www.indigorose.com/forums) with the following title: Why doesn't '\r\n' in a text file work? ... I am not able to access the thread using Internet Explorer (firefox works fine). I believe this is because of the structure of the rewritten link. In firefox: http://www.indigorose.com/forums/threads/30701-Why-doesn-t-\r\n-in-text-file-work. In Internet Explorer: http://www.indigorose.com/forums/thr...text-file-work. (note the above referenced thread title has been changed to remove the backslashes ... so the above links are no longer current). Can the mod_Rewrite rules be adjusted? Or better yet, can whatever procedure is used to create the links be adjusted to strip out the slashes so this isn't an issue? This doesn't come up much for us, but when it does, it's an inconvenience ot have to edit the title manually. Thank you in advance for any replies / suggestions! Desmond. |
