Forum New forum with 5,000 spam messages (no real content yet)
 

A few months ago, I purchased and installed vB 4.0.2. It was working great, but I got pulled into another project, so I ignored the forum. Six weeks later, I checked the forum just to remember how far I got, and there were ~5,000 threads, all spam. So I shut off the forum until I could pay attention to it.

Now here I am, ready to get the forum launched.

Question: what should I do to eliminate the spam threads?

a) Some method of deleting all the threads and users, and continue with existing installation and database?

b) Delete the database and vB installation, and start from scratch?

What do you guys suggest?
