Forum Change my sites login/registration to use vBulletin login/registration
 

Hey All,

I have a login that users can use to login to a site. I just installed vBulletin and want to make my login work with the vBulletin login. Main reason is to have clients only have to register once on my site to create an account. Also when a user logs in I don't want them to have to log in again on the message board.

1.) Is there a service I can access for the registration & login?
2.) If there is no service I can user for registration then what encryption do I need to use for the password field when adding a user to the database?
3.) If no service then what info do I need to set so the database will know the user is logged in? Do I need to set cookie info? If so what do I need to set?

I am guessing this is more a question for the developers at vBulletin but if anyone else has gone through the process of porting there login/registration to work with vBulletin I would love to hear your input.
