Computer Chat could use some hand holding setting up a test environment on my local linux box
 

I have an old dell desktop, I put on CentOS, I put on XAMPP. I have the public_html dir of my forum and a mysql dump. I think my main hurdle is importing the db as it's 1.3GB. I am pretty clueless with Linux. Is there a more foolproof method to making a local dev site? Really wrestling with this :/
