Post count in Rebuild Search index...
 

I'm rebuilding my search index. It's taking a long time, and I can't afford to take the site offline whilst I do it, so I've been doing it in stages during the night time when the site isn't as busy.

Anyway, on my homepage it says the total posts in the forum is 2,290,366

Yet the post count in the rebuild search index has now exceeded that by quit a bit (over 100,000 so far) and is still re-indexing.

Is this due to deleted posts still being indexed, or is there something else?
