Questions about private messaging
 

I have been tinkering around with the demo version for the last couple of days and I cannot figure out how to perform the following:

I want to have the forum set up so that people can register immediately but without private messaging activated. Once the member decides to pay a membership fee, I can then turn on the private messaging for that member.

Additionally, when a member becomes a paid member, I only want that member to be able to private message members of a specific usergroup (let's call the group that can be Pm'd "Homeowners").

Additionally, when a "Homeowner" registers, I want the Homeowner to be able to Private message paid members only.

Recap:

New members-no PMing ability
Paid members-can PM Homeowners only
Home owners-Can PM paid members only

(I do not want paid members to PM each other, or Homeowners to PM each other.)

Can somebody walk me through how I would enter all the necessary adjustments in the admin section to achieve this?

When I spoke with the sales department at Vbulletin, the sales associate Danny said that this can be accomplished....I just can't figure it all out.
