Forum HELP - can't back up d/b?

mysqldump: Error 1194: Table 'vbpost' is marked as crashed and should be repaired when dumping table `vbpost` at row: 217337
I get the above code when attempting to back up (SSH) my database.

My VPS has gone down due to allegedly using 100% of diskspace, so I removed some files (inc. a couple of backups - duuuh) and used the free space to create a backup. However, when attempting to backup - the above error message is received.

I'm really not a very confident user of SSH and the VPS which is why I don't mess with it often... Any help appreciated.
