Forums I had a dream ... or back to the basics?
 

I was browsing the newest vbulletin version as an admin, since months I had no spambot registering because of the inbuilt vbulletin spam protection system. It works similar like stopforumspam, collecting all spammers on a vbulletin spam server and communicates with every vbulletin forum. I never had to think one minute about spam protection since I installed the newest vbulletin version.
My members are excited because now all functions are well placed in a logical way and easy to find, the usage of the forum is self explaining.
Yesterday I informed my users about the new vbulletin version by the new inbuilt vbulletin newsletter system (vns), that's a great tool and is even recognizing bounced emails, so I never more have hassle with that thousands of invalid mail addresses.
Right now I write an announcement in my forum, after 10 minutes of typing I pressed accidentally the back button of my browser but hey, since vbulletin has this new cool feature called "vbulletin autosafe messages" (vam) that's no problem at all, every minute it auto saves the written text. Don't forget to mention the "save message as a draft", there's even the possibility now to add a time when a message will be visible.
Ok, after I finished writing my announcement I have to do my duties as a forum admin, checking all unread forum-messages, group messages, blog entries, and all other content types. But with that new inbuilt vbulletin admin tool I only need to press one single button and all, really all messages/content is listed completely in front of my eyes.
If I think how this works on the old vbulletin version, I had to click "whats new" click on the thread title, next page, next page, back to "whats new" click next thread and after all forum posts I need to check New Group Messages, New Events, New Articles, New Blog Entries. But now all that new cool stuff saves me such a lot of time I better can spend on vbulletin.com and do some new suggestions to improve the product although it's near perfect.
All suggestions I write on vbulletin.com will be read by all devs and get an answer if it is doable, even my fellow vb admins can vote for the suggestions, isn't that cool?
Vbulletin is a great community, all ppl are excited and happy to use this new top leading new vbulletin version, if there are problems all are doing what they can to help each other it's really like a second family.
Even Bob Brisco the big boss is jumping in every week and shows us how he care for his customers, throwing away prices for the best addons on vb.org or for the ppl. who are most reporting/scrubbing bugs or do great suggestions to improve vbulletin.
Even Mark.B, slinky and all formerly known complainers are wearing this in their signatures:"We are happy vbulletin campers and proud of it"
