CMS A bunch of CMS Questions
 

I just set up the CMS for the first time so I have a lot of questions...
I try to search but the search here won't search the term "CMS".:rolleyes:

A few easy ones to start...

1) Can I make unpublished articles show up on top?
The way I set it up is members can post articles, but only moderators can publish them. How are my moderators supposed to find these unpublished articles though? :confused:

2) How is the article image for the article preview chosen?
Currently if there are multiple attachments in the post it just chooses one seemingly at random. :confused:

3) How can I make the root section (contentid 1) display on the Section Navigation widget? Currently every child will show up there but not the root one? :confused:

4) Are per-section permissions broken?
I set the root section to allow posting by all but publishing only to moderators.
I setup a subsection to allow read-only, NO GROUP HAVE CREATE CONTENT PRIVILEGES, and yet I can create articles there as any member.



This one is the toughy. Probably better suited for vbulletin.org than here.

4) How can I make the CMS stop redirecting my forum root to /content/1(...) ?
I want http://mydomain.com/ to show the CMS, but I don't want it redirecting to http://mydomain.com/content/1(...) :confused:
