increasing private message limit and 3.7.4 Patch Level 1. to 3.8 before and beyond
 

I am going to upgrade but currently not having any issues other than trying to find the setting in the admin section where i can increase the number of private messages a user can store. Also, when increasing the number on a 6000 member board with about 50 gigs of space onmy server what is a safe number? say 500?

also, do you see any potential problems in going from 3.7.4 Patch Level 1. to the newest version? Before i start there is one thing i need to know. How do i change the header of the forum and the footer. I have my own header design and footer design i use.
