CMS Bug that shuts down my CMS
 

So sometimes I get this error message that shuts down my CMS and I cannot go to my Home page at all when I start getting this error.

Error:Fatal error: Call to a member function isExpired() on a non-object in ####/forum/vb/cache/db.php on line 210

In one of the comments on this page there is a fix in the code.

Is this something that I should attempt on my own or should I wait for 4.0.6 for this fix?

What is the worse that can happen if I follow that persons fix and remove one of the php statement?

I dont get this error message all the time, but at this current time I cannot get onto my home page at all.
