How easy is it to keep my forum content private (for my subscribers).

I am interested in purchasing vBulletin, but I just have a quick 'pre-sales' question...

As I am setting up a subscription site, it is vital that I can keep my forum content private and away from search engine results. Therefore I would like to inetegrate the forum into my site so that it is password protected and private... and only available for my subscribers...

I have 'wishlist' software installed on my site. Can I bring my vBulletin forum under the 'protection' of this software, or does vBulletin have it's own privacy/protection settings that I could use?
