Forum 'ghost' post new thread button in subforums.. white space where a button shouldn't be
 

I have a subforum that contains further subforums. The parent subforum is set to not allow posts, eventhough I set this there is a big white space where the "post new thread" button should have been if I had enabled the forum to allow posts. Any ideas how to remove this? Thanks!
