possible 3.8.6 bug, database error when doing social group searches

here is how i generated the error....

go to social groups

click on any social group that has posts in it

Social Group Discussions | Search Discussions


enter search term and hit submit, this will cause a database error

it appears "AS relevance" might be missing from the SQL query. vbulletin said there is no relevance table, but AS relevance might fix the query i think



can anyone else confirm this bug?

i have:

1) disabled all vbulletin hooks/plugins and the error still occurs
2) registered on another vbulletin forum and the error occurs on it too
3) the plugins i did have installed did nothing whatsoever with this code
4) seen that 2 other users reproted this as a bug, but vbulletin support said its not a bug

however, ironically tracker.vbulletin is down now so i can't get to it=(
