Forum Confusion over colors on reply to thread vs. post new thread in WYSIWYG
 

Very new to modifying styles and have been trying to track down how to fix this for a while.

When I click "reply to thread" I see:

When I click "post new thread" I see:

Why is the background black on the last image?

A.) How can I change the color of the background of the editor for "posting a new thread"?
-I figured out to change subject title but haven't found what I need.

B.) For future reference, how can I change the background color of the "reply to post" background and the default text color that is used when typing a response or post a new thread?


Lastly, I have zero background in CSS but I want to start learning. What can I read to understand how to use firebug and use it to track down things in the stylevars?
