No new categories or forums after import from IPB 2.3.6
 

I have imported a site from IPB 2.3.6 after resolving an attachment issue. The import progressed without any noteworthy error messages. When I go to the database I can see the forums table has been populated, as has the threads and posts. But when I go to the forum only the main category and main forum appear, just as they did before the import. In the admincp panel they are the only forums selectable to perform actions on.

What happened to the other forums? The data is in the system but it is being ignored. I'm going back to read the instructions but I don't remember any instructions to purge the default configuration from the database. Could that be over-riding the imported information?
